The Director of Student Services reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for the overall quality of TSTA Step Team Programs.
The Director of Student Services is expected to provide a vision for the schools in the area of social networking events for student groups. They may evaluate and modify events to prevent team conflicts. They also manage and monitor expenditures to ensure program funds are allocated accordingly. The student services director may be asked to encourage student participation in organizational events, or asked to participate in meetings or conferences as a TSTA representative. Student Service director may function as a liaison between students/steppers and TSTA. They maintain attendance records at social events. In addition, they may be responsible for evaluating and monitoring costs for developing programming.
